This little beastie is
Eurypharynx pelecanoides, or "the umbrella-mouthed gulper." It's a deep-sea eel. Here's a photo:

Deep-sea creatures are so freaking cool. Now find me something that goes well with beer (besides cheesy tatertots).

Eek! That's so cool looking, I love it. And, I had never seen it. :D
It's hard to tell in the photo. I think maybe it's swimming away from the camera with its mouth open?
